Reversible Umbrella Windproof

This Reversible Umbrella Windproof has a unique, unconventional design that is far from your average umbrellas. Engineered in a reverse open fashion, that keeps the wet canopy part of the umbrella inside. With full fiber stand, it increases its flexibility on its canopy surface. And it makes it much stronger and reduces the surface weight during strong winds. The ribs, all the way to the stalk, made in carbon fiber which makes it much stronger and rust free. The handle is a C design for more stylish looking and equips with an easy switch for opening the umbrella. It has a double layer cloth for a more excellent grip and comfortable handling. The canopy has an excellent waterproof material that when it rains, water beads form at the canopy’s fabric and dries.

How Old are those Umbrella?

The umbrellas structure and design was trace way back 21 AD, with a Chinese official during the Han Dynasty. He is using a collapsible paper made umbrella at the back on his carriage. Two hundred years later, a Chinese military officer made some innovation on the umbrella. He made it with bendable joint ribs to make it retract and extend for military use. From that innovation, the umbrella’s materials, colors, and textures change, but not the design. Modern umbrella’s design came from a two millennia old umbrella.

The Flaws of the Umbrella

Its been over 2000 years old the design age of the umbrella. From its canopy to the handle, no innovation made since then. Though it changes in the materials used for example from a paper made to nylon cloth. The design is still the same. And with the same, the same comes with its different flaws. Flaws like flipping in strong wind, a wet canopy when close, and a stretchable opening gesture that make it more stressful. It is troubling since it lasted for over two millennia, but the problems remain.
